Buck the Dog needs a home
Buck is a very smart dog, as are most coonhounds. He was surrendered by his owner who owned him since he was 7 mos. old and he really misses his family. He is an alpha dog and has evidently been allowed to do whatever he wants most of his life. So here at the rescue there are rules that have been tough for Buck to adjust to but he's coming around. He also loves attention and he loves to give a paw. He would love to be with an active retired couple or a family with older kids who would take him places with them. He is a very cute dog with a a big personality who urgently needs a family to love him. He also needs a strong leader that will continue our work here showing Buck he's not the boss.
Buck was diagnosed with heartworms before we rescued him and now his treatment is complete and he's healthy and ready to go home with his forever family. If you'd like to meet this handsome hunk, please contact us with information about yourself and we can set something up.
